Canada visitor visa documents (Nigeria)
A Canada visitor visa (temporary resident visa) needs a passport, proof you have enough money for your visit, and evidence of ties to Nigeria such as a job or family. Most Nigerian applicants must also give biometrics.
Documents IRCC asks for
- A passport, with copies of the bio page and any stamps or visas
- Proof of funds, such as recent bank statements
- Evidence of ties to Nigeria: employment, business, family or property
- Any extra documents listed for the visa office that handles Nigeria
- Biometrics (fingerprints and photo)
Fees
The visitor visa processing fee starts from CAN$100, with a separate biometrics fee.
